About length: If you fully expand the fabric (without installing the control tape). Each section measures 2.5’ long.
The length listed already include the drape factored in (2’ span between sections). And you can also set the drape to your preference by limiting distance between sections with the control tape.

★★★★★★★★★★ Perfect For My DeckI have a modest sized outdoor deck (11’x14’) that gets a lot of direct high afternoon sun. This was a perfect solution for me instead of a cantilever umbrella or fixed sun shade sails. The umbrella would have added so much bulk, even when closed, to the space and the sails do not have the option to adjust after installation. With these shades I can draw all or some of the shades closed or open depending on how much sun I want. When they are all drawn closed, as pictured, I can enjoy my deck in the afternoon in shaded comfort, even on a really hot day.They seem to work well with protecting my furniture against sun damage too. I’ve had them for almost 1 year now and prefer to keep them in a fixed open position by latching them to fixed anchors. With that, they’ve held up nicely through rough winds and heavy rains.I had them mounted with about 8” of separation between each panel so that the space didn’t feel so closed in when all the shades are drawn. I wish I could have mounted them higher off the ground, but my house parameters do not permit. Although, as it is, it feels alot like a cozy cabana and everyone I have over really likes it. I’ve had compliment about it feeling like a resort space. I’m very happy I found this shade option because it’s just perfect for my outdoor space.Installation, however, wasn’t so simple. I hired my trusty handyman to do the job and it took him about 4 hours to mount the 4 panels. He also mentioned there were parts missing that he had to purchase at the local hardware store.
