This shade was not designed for the frame we put it on, so the fit looks a little loose and awkward. However, it worked great. The material seems breathable and lightweight but sturdy enough to withstand sun, wind, and light rain. It's not waterproof by any means, but won't break down quickly if rained on. It was easy to get set up on our frame. It offered a great deal of shade, blocking out the sun/heat, but not reducing the light. It came with a rope that we ended up not using at all, it's pretty cheap. The shade is rectangular and the corners seem to be a little extended in length with metal rings sewn to each end, making it easy to set up. We ended up using heavy duty velcro to attach it to our frame. Though we haven't had to clean it up yet, it seems easy to clean whether with a wipe down or hosing off. The material will dry very quickly.
