- Waterproof Material: Crafted from high-density polyester. Fabric has been treated with waterproof coating, these sails block the sun’s UV rays and repel rainwater. Blocks up to 95% of UV rays, protecting your family, furniture and plants
- Seam Reinforcement: Waterproof strips are applied to the fabric seams to enhance rain protection. All edges are constructed with heavy-duty double-layered reinforced stitched seams, preventing frayed edges and out of shape. Each corner ends with a D-ring for easy hanging
- Curved Sides & Outdoor Sunshade: Curved edges increase pull strength and prevent sagging. If straight sides are preferred, please let us konw. Ideal for patio, lawn, garden, backyard, pool, deck, courtyard, park, carport, or any other outdoor area
- Easy to Install: Install the sail at a 20°–40° angle with maximum tension to facilitate rainwater runoff. The side with the waterproof strip faces the ground. A gap of 1.5-2 feet should be left between the ring and the fixing point for installing hardware
- Note: The fabric is stretchy. The title‘s sizes are for when it's stretched tight. Be sure to fully extend the sunshade sail when installing it, or it'll be too small. You could also pick a slightly bigger size

Sunshades Depot Waterproof Shade Sail Canopy Tent Replacement is the most cost effective shade solution per square foot.
A shade sail is the perfect alternative to a traditional pergola or covered porch. Floating and curvaceous, Shade Sails make an attractive addition to any property, and with the right design, they can enhance the existing property with artistic or architectural flair and style.
Sail Shades are wonderfully versatile; they can be attached to homes, fences, trees, or patio columns. In addition, they can be supported by wood posts or steel columns embedded in concrete footings. They can easily be taken down seasonally if necessary. Shade Sails are the ultimate in stylish sun protection. You can creatively design your own little shady area in a courtyard, pool, gardens, children's play areas, car spaces, and even entry ways.
HOW TO MAKE THE MEASUREMENT
1. Measure the distance from one post to the next post.
2. Based upon those measurements, subtract 1-1.5 feet. For example, for a 9' by 9' measurement we suggest one 8' by 8' product.
*Our sun shade sails have curves on each side to enhance pull strength and prevent drooping on the sides. Due to the curved sides on sun shade sails, the product may have 1-6 inches deviations on side length. For our hand-made products, deviations of 2 inches more or less is not uncommon. Thus, any deviations between 0 and 8 inches are acceptable for our products.
*Due to curves, please keep in mind that our sun shade sails will be 4-6 inches shorter in middle width.
Note: No "waterproof" sun shade from any manufacturer is 100% waterproof, then it would be a plastic tarp.
If water is allowed to pool in the center of the sail, it will slowly drip through. Some water may also drip through the stitching on the seams, but if the sail is installed at at 30-45 degree angle with enough tension, most rain water will run off.

★★★★★★★★★★ Better than expected....so farwas not disappointed like other reviewers, I wonder if they stretched it too tight (I did stretch mine but not over stretched), as for color mine was perfect red as shown, I want to buy another one since for $50 I do not expect it to last for years, but they have increase price by 10% so I think I will wait and see how long this will last (I have had it in the sun now for around a month. Only flaw I see is the stitching looked like it unraveled at the corner (which is a major stress point and why it ripped on the other reviewer's?) but again for 1/2 the price or less than most sunshades, if it last the summer here in Houston I will be impressed....and it is definitely rain proof!
