- Waterproof Material: Constructed of 260 GSM high-density Polyester shade fabric. The fabric is coated to protect against light rain and won't fade or tear easily. Waterproof strips are applied to the fabric seams to enhance rain protection. Weather-resistant for year-round use
- Thickened & Straight Edges: The shade fabric features double-stitched reinforced seams; D-rings and evenly distributed metal eyelets enhance its tensile strength. The straight edge design increases the shading area, making it suitable for frame structures such as pergolas and greenhouses.
- Sun Block and Cooling: Shade cloth blocks up to 95% harmful UV rays, reducing the temperature underneath the sail. Ideal for patio, lawn, garden, backyard, pool, deck, courtyard, carport, or any other outdoor area to keep you cool in summer
- Easy to Install: Install the sail at a 20°–40° angle with maximum tension to facilitate rainwater runoff. The side with the waterproof strip faces the ground. If you prefer curved edges, please let us know; our professional American factory offers customization services
- Note: The fabric is stretchy. The title‘s sizes are for when it's stretched tight. Be sure to fully extend the sunshade sail when installing it, or it'll be too small. You could also pick a slightly bigger size

Sunshades Depot Waterproof Shade Sail Canopy Tent Replacement is the most cost effective shade solution per square foot. Shade Sails protect and shade your outdoor areas. Also known as Sun Sails, shade sails make beautiful additions to your patio, backyard, or other outdoor areas, while providing excellent protection from the sun and its harmful UV radiation. A shade sail is the perfect alternative to a traditional pergola or covered porch. Floating and curvaceous, Shade Sails make an attractive addition to any property, and with the right design, they can enhance the existing property with artistic or architectural flair and style. Sail Shades are wonderfully versatile; they can be attached to homes, fences, trees, or patio columns. In addition, they can be supported by wood posts or steel columns embedded in concrete footings. They can easily be taken down seasonally if necessary. Shade Sails are the ultimate in stylish sun protection. You can creatively design your own little shady area in a courtyard, pool, gardens, children's play areas, car spaces, and even entry ways. The perimeter of each sail is designed with a gentle catenary curve inwards toward the center of the sail to control the fabric tension. Shade sails have reinforced webbing around the perimeter, and steel D or "Delta" rings at each corner. When properly tensioned, shade sail fabric will not wrinkle, sag, or flap in the wind. The Polyester material will keep you cool and out of the hot sun. This unique state-of-the-art material will block the sun and UV rays, and will withstand damages caused by moisture and natural temperature extremes. Washable with regular soap and water. Heavy duty design will not droop or sag.

★★★★★★★★★★ Worth it, but could be betterFirst off, the price will keep me coming back and it does it’s job of keeping rain and sun from penetrating through. After my wife and I were quoted by three different awning places last year at a range of $2,500-$3,500 for a 12x17, we decided on an alternative. We were overall pretty happy with our purchase and the awning made it through the first year with minimal issues. This year however, I noticed the material is much more frail and easily ripped. We stored it over winter and after we put it up, about a week later we noticed little tears where all the securing rings are.For me, I’ll just purchase another one, but hopefully this one makes it through the summer. Spending around $275 every two years sounds way better than $3,500 and a yearly install and storage fee for about the same as this awning.A remedy to my problem with my awning would definitely be to add extra strength where the securing rings are. At the moment I am using heavy duty duct tape in these areas and it seems to hold up for now.12 people found this helpful
