★★★★★★★★★★ Not your typical pool cover, this on really lets the rain through!So this fabric reminds me of outdoor furniture from the 70s. It has subtle seersucker lines and is semi-transparent. It will definitively allow rainwater to pass through, while not bogging it down. Not to say you won't still want a cover pillow (we use an innertube) to keep it propped up, but it won't get all bogged down in the water from rain. I think and am hopeful this will do well to keep leaves and excess debris out of the pool.2 people found this helpful

★★★★★★★★★★ Basically a round sun shade; keeps out leaves and other debrisI'm a bit torn on this because the fabric is sun shade fabric, which means that it is not water proof and dust and other things will go through it into your pool. However, I do like that it can double as a sun shade in summer when not being used on the pool. I'm not sure I can say the same about other pool covers. I don't particularly care for the fact that it will go under the water if something heavy falls on it, and then the water comes up through the cover. This cover is really only good for keep debris out, like leaves and things. I think if I had thought of this in advance, I would have chosen a different cover. However, this is not a fault of the product itself, it is just a feature the product doesn't have that I would have wanted.
