Purchased along with a secondary set of stainless hardware from another seller.--Mounting:--It was my first time setting up a shade sail and I couldn't seem to get the tension balanced with the mounting points I selected, so I ended up using carabiners and a 8-10" long coil spring from the hardware store. This worked well for creating constant stretch and also allowing extra movement during the few blustery thunderstorms we get in metro Detroit.--Shade:--This sail provided the amount of shade I wanted to be able to sit comfortably on the patio. It diffuses the direct sunlight without being too dark. We don't use the back room very much but I have to believe there was some energy savings from the shade sail blocking some of the afternoon sun.--Quality/Value:--I had found a "professional grade" sail on another site for 4x the cost of this one, and decided to buy the cheaper one just to prove the concept before going all the way to a pro grade. It looks like I'll be getting at least two summers out of this one and I'm very pleased about that. At this moment there does not appear to be any significant fade in the stripe pattern and no tearing or fraying of the actual fabric.
