I had some difficulty making the wire rope tight, but that was an issue with the framing of my pergola. I needed to reinforce that first.

It's well designed and really easy to install. It's so amazing how much it enhance the area and its environment. We're able to put lots of indoor plants mostly tropical bcoz of the shade it provides .

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. The fabric and crossbars are sturdy and well-made. Most of the hardware is stainless steel. (The exception was the screws for attaching the loops to the fascia. They were cheap Chinese screws that broke easily. I replaced them with number 8 stainless steel screws) cable is plenty strong. I installed the 4X 16 shades to fill a space 20 feet wide. If the 16-foot shades are pulled all the way open, they easily fill a 20-foot space. Because we pulled them out to the full 20 feet, the included cable was not long enough so I had to buy my own cable at a of cost about $25 / shade at Home Depot for 1/8 inch stainless steel cable. Installation was straightforward and took a couple of hours per shade.We are loving our new patio.

This is a great retractable canapy set. It is one strand of coverage and includes all of the needed parts.plus very clear instructions.I ordered another set I was so happy with this one

We ordered 8 sails. They have arrived little by little within 1 week. The packing is pretty good and the product seems to well made, time will tell. Will install tomorrow. My only complaint at this moment is that the hardware came with only the pieces needed. If you loose one nut ora screw good luck. Will contact seller about this issue and see if they can send more items.

I ordered two of the 4' x 16' shades, and received both on the promised delivery date. One of the boxes was complete, and I was able to start installation right away. Installation was not difficult; instructions are straightforward and the included hardware made for a secure attachment to my structure. I didn't use the cable that came with it because I have a 30-foot span over my patio, only part of which would be covered by the shade, so I bought a separate spool of 1/8" wire rope that seems to be strong enough so far (the included cable seems to be 3/16", which is something I couldn't find specifications for before I ordered.) The shade fabric is lightweight but tough, and filters the Texas sun to a manageable level.The second box, however, was torn, and it was missing all of the installation hardware. It looked like the box had been dropped on the end that was supposed to contain the hardware and it caused the parts to rip a hole in the side of the box. So, I contacted the seller, who answered promptly and instructed their warehouse to send me a replacement set of hardware.Today (8 days later) I received the replacement hardware -- which is also incomplete. So I have to contact them AGAIN and ask them to send the rest of it, and presumably wait another week before I can complete this project. That is very frustrating. My personal recommendation is that if you receive an incomplete package, you should RETURN it and order a new one. You'll get it faster.
