We bought this to cover up a dog fence and to make it harder for our dogs to see out of the fence. It was so easy to put up and it does the job! Seems to be very sturdy too. I highly recommend

★★★★★★★★★★ Reduces heat on cement

Reviewed by dawn s. Posted on 4/29/23 Verified Purchase

They are serving the purpose to reduce heat on our cement wall. We have lost some evergreens because the wall was too hot behind the trees. We live in AZ so it gets very hot most days in the summer. Plus I like the way everything blends and looks good together.

★★★★★★★★★★ PERFECT ADDITION TO MY URBAN OASIS

Reviewed by TDJ Posted on 8/27/22 Verified Purchase

I recently had my backyard renovated and initially planned to have a privacy fence install. However, due to the pandemic, it was impossible to get a contractor to even come out to give me an estimate.I’m thrilled with the results of my DIY privacy screen project. Instead of paying thousands of dollars for a 6ft. privacy fence, I purchased three rolls of the 4 ft. x 14 ft. material and a bag of 100 green zips ties and quickly installed the material myself. It was super easy!I folded the material at the top, so the bottom edge fell evenly along the concrete base of my chain link fence. The material is easy to work with. I wouldn’t recommend cutting it for fear of it unraveling. It only took 2 hours to single-handedly install. The material is dense enough that you can’t clearly see what’s on the other side of the fence and the color of the ivy leaves seamlessly blend into the rest of the foliage in my backyard.Because my property sits on a block where the line of sight drops down at every house, I can sit on my patio pad and not be seen by people traveling on the side street.I highly recommend this place product, it met my expectations and saved me a couple thousand dollars.Winning! ????

★★★★★★★★★★ Keeps the Beagle from telling the neighborhood he owns the town!

Reviewed by coogle Posted on 4/3/18 Verified Purchase

Bought this because our beagle thinks he owns the entire town and wants to tell every single person who walks by. Easily installed on our aluminum driveway gate with zip-ties, and was a great size -- long enough to go the length (with extra to wrap around the hinge of the gate and perfect height. It looks nice, and so far the leaves have mostly stayed on. It does turn the gate into a giant windsail though so keep that in mind (wasn't a problem for us as we have an automatic gate opener). Most importantly, it's kept the beagle's view of the front of the house restricted enough to keep him significantly more quiet.

★★★★★★★★★★ Robust. Easy to install. Has Mesh back for added privacy. Looks great from a distance but not up close.

Reviewed by Fadi Shakkour Posted on 2/27/18 Verified Purchase

We purchased this item to replace the privacy fence on our tennis court. In my personal opinion it is far better than any privacy fence cover available on the market today. It has a mesh cover on the backside which greatly enhances privacy, also helps in affixing the item onto the chain link fence. It breaths well and does not move much in strong wind. In order to cover the entire height of the fence, 8' high, we laid the item sideways (4' high and 14' wide), and place one cover above the other. Finding put that the items are designed to link together was a pleasant surprise and added to the ease and security of the installation. The item looks robust and ready to deal with mother nature. On the down side, some spots were bare, and the leaves are completely unrealistic when viewed up close. From a far it looks delightful. I highly recommend on chain link fences that are located far away from the observer. Left to discover: length of time before color starts fading.

★★★★★★★★★★ Looks better than expected

Reviewed by Lindsay Fernandez Montagna Posted on 3/12/21 Verified Purchase

Quality isn’t half bad & it honestly looks way better than I expected. I expect with time it will weather - leaves fall off, vinyl rips - but is is definitely doing it’s job at the moment. My dog would bark uncontrollably & nonstop whenever he saw anyone walking on our street & now, the silence is AMAZING. I also feel this is a bit overpriced, but whatever. It works for now & I’m pretty satisfied.

★★★★★★★★★★ Update on previous review

Reviewed by Lawrence Posted on 12/8/20 Verified Purchase

I have buyer's remorse. I don't like that the leaves are sparse and the screen backing is readily visible, especially when the sun light hits it from behind or front-side. The leaves are also a bright green that doesn't match the leaves on my surrounding bushes. I ordered the green plastic ties advertised next to the faux ivy sunshade and it is also a much brighter green which stands out from the faux ivy green color. Use the black ties instead.Unfortunately, the faux ivy looks fake.3/19/2021: I've had these for a while now and it has withstood strong winds and rain on several occasions. I've gotten used to it and like it more than my first impression.

★★★★★★★★★★ Used for 3 sided outside room

Reviewed by Barb E. Posted on 7/29/24 Verified Purchase

I had 2 orders for this faux hedge fence. The 1st I ordered 2 & then 1. They came the same color. I say this because when deciding which to get, I saw some reviews where different colors were sent. You can see in the pictures the leaves are not as full or compact in the advertised. Because some said leaves blew off easily, I put the leaves facing the inside - hoping this helps. I was not able to click panel to panel so I used green zip ties. I attached the panels to u- posts that I bought for the panels. I think these would look better if they were put against a flat backing to prevent buckling. I put these up 3&5 days ago and there has been more buckling/ drooping in panels. Final pictures pictured were taken 3 days ago. The green backside looks better than I expected. It is cooler inside. I used these to make a small outside 3 sided room for privacy around a small pool, etc.

★★★★★★★★★★ Product quality

Reviewed by Maritza Posted on 5/17/22 Verified Purchase

First, I made it work for me. If you look at the fence with a naked the ivy leaves are not full. Second i had to used more ties from the entire material to make it work. Then when you cut to the size you need the entire things unravel so it i did the best that I can. One thing I know it is worth the price I paid for. Somewhat disappointed.

★★★★★★★★★★ Know your needs

Reviewed by whiney Posted on 4/21/22 Verified Purchase

The star rating depends on your needs. I am using this as a privacy fence around a deck and it functions well for this because the backing is mostly opaque. It also looks good at a distance, so 5 stars if that is what you need. Up close it is not realistic and the backing is visible - that is lots of spots not covered by leaves. Personally, I think it looks ugly and cheap up close - which is how I am using it.I give it 3-starts as it works well for privacy, is substantially cheaper than the better looking panels you can buy and is a single roll - so much easier to install. Do not buy if aesthetics is important for you.I am buying a garland for $15 that I plan to add to it. Hopefully the combination will cover most of the bare spots and add a level of variety to the leaves that will change the fence from ugly to acceptable!
