★★★★★★★★★★ Patience neededLots to do here. I had to put 2 of these together first one was the lesson 2nd was easier. Directions can confuse you. I think there is a video I didn't realize it until I was done, I suggest you watch it. Wasn't hard to assemble just have to take it slow dont hurry. I used some small washers at the top connection s since the screws provided would not firmly hold down hanger the would cause it to slip out of groove when tightening. Running the string proved to be an ordeal you have alot of feet to pull through then at final stage you will have to sinch it up all over to take out the slack to put the string lock on. After all is said and done they look good and shade the sun out of your eyes.8 people found this helpful

★★★★★★★★★★ Does what we expectedOur porch roof is at an angle, but my husband hung it so the shade hangs straight on the bottom. It provides the best right amount of shade. So far the bungee cords have withstood whatever winds we've had. Can't speak to the durabilty as of yet.

★★★★★★★★★★ Great value but issues in breezy conditionsOverall I’ve been very happy with these shades. For the price, they do exactly what I needed in terms of providing shade. The one complaint I have is with the wheel brackets on the string pulley system used to raise the shades. I live near the beach and there is often a breeze. Almost without fail, everyday the breeze moves the string out of the wheel mechanism causing the string to get caught. I’m then unable to raise or lower the shades without getting on a ladder to fix the issue. Using better brackets for the pulley system which enclose the string and don’t let it blow out of place would be a big upgrade.7 people found this helpful

★★★★★★★★★★ Wrong color and bad qualityReally bad quality and they sent wrong color.

★★★★★★★★★★ Clumsy design. The shade will do but it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. I ordered the beige shade and it looks more like yellow. The mechanism used to roll the shade up is just a string wrapped around the outside that is complicated to install and doesn’t roll the shade up well.

★★★★★★★★★★ Not EasyNot easy to assemble. Once this is accomplished, nice enough shade.
