★★★★★★★★★★ Very helpful shadingI have South facing back yard which gets beaten up in the 5-month summer Arizona sun. I used this as a sunshade and the temp difference is noteworthy. It is a bit darker than I expected using brown and black threading--again with the intense sun, I can live with that.

★★★★★★★★★★ Good colorHave not used this yet, but its a very nice color, and the texture is great. So far so good.

★★★★★★★★★★ Great materialWe use the material to add more shade to our patio. in the pictures it is a 50% sun blockage, what i purchased this time was 95% (not pictured) and I have to say the material we use holds up well to sun, wind, rain and even snow. great stuff to assist in shading and cooling an area.

★★★★★★★★★★ Great product at a good priceMatches some Coolaroo mechanized shades I've bought at Costco. Several windows wrong sized for the 6X8 Costco/Coolaroo option. Made smaller but matching shades from this fabric using 1/2"PVC irrigation pipe + fittings and magnets from Lee Valley Hardware. Looks good, works great. Now for the problem of winter storage????

★★★★★★★★★★ Good product but it shrinksI have made 6 roll-up shades for my brother-in-law's smoke shed. I still need to make one more. I found out real quick that the material shrinks ... a lot. I read the reviews that said to lay it out in the sun to remove the wrinkles. The first shade I made I cut to size and laid it out in the sun to remove the wrinkles. It shrunk by a good 6 inches. I had to remake the shade and cut it at least 8 inches wider than I needed so that when the sun shrunk it I still had enough room to square the fabric. (The fabric is so stretchy that it is a challenge to square.) The ends still tend to roll-up so I sewed an edging around the sides (out of Sunbrella fabric) to keep them flat. The top was mounted on an aluminum 1.5 inch tube and the bottom was slid into a slotted rail so the top and bottom wasn't a problem. One of the shades on the south side of the shed shrank even after the shade was mounted so that the sides aren't where I need them to be. It may be that when I laid the fabric out in the sun to take the wrinkles out either the day wasn't a really hot day or I didn't leave it out long enough. Not sure if I will remake that shade or not. BTW, if all you want to do is take out wrinkles, hanging it on a shower rod and using a hand steamer works wellThe edging I sewed along the side was a chore for my old Bernina sewing machine. It was a learn as you go process. The seams (top stitch) of the first three shades look really sloppy. I think the Bernina needed a walking foot, which I didn't have. It was an excuse to buy a new Sailrite Ultrafeed heavy duty machine. The last three shades look much better. I mounted the shades on hardware from Rowley Corporation. They make a roller shade kit for outdoor use.TLDR: The shades look great, but the fabric shrinks in the hot sun a lot.
