Third year. We had a hurricane come through. It did not tear! I do have a few small tears and it it's a little dirty. It's at a 80% still usable, but maybe I'll just get a fresh one! Thank you for the awesome shade!It my second year with this shade. It looks great. Still intact. The shade has stretched and I had to adjust my buckles. That's to be expected though! Still 100% great purchase!First shade that came had a nickel sized hole. I called Amazon they next day shipped a new one and sent back the other. Not a big problem. Thanks Amazon!The shade works great. Survived some heavy rain storms. I have it very right over a pergola so rain doesn't settle and pool. It will drip through the shade though, it's not a tent. The shade works as expected. I love it. It's a weaved stretchable plastic. Heavy stitching for the buckles. I'm sure this will last me a few years, but I'm thinking about buying a back up just because it's so cheap!One complaint: the curving of the sides is way more than 6 inches. Mine is like 15 inches. My spacing for joists are 18 inches. The buckle is 3 inches centered on my 6x6 post But my pergola is large enough that it doesn't matter.

Provides shade for my pale flesh. Very pleased. Seems to be holding up nicely too. Although only time will tell if it can last for as long as I would like it to.

We purchased this to place above are koi pond to bring the temperature down and Georgia and it worked beautifully

Couldn't be happier! Came exactly as described, and not only included rope, but the rope was pre-cut in 4 pieces. I wish I would have bought the mounting kit with it as well, but one trip to the local hardware store, and I had it mounted. When reviews advise getting turnbuckles for mounting, take heed. The rope and fabric will stretch, and require you to tighten it back up every couple of days until it's "worn-in". I've had it up for a little over a month now and have received many compliments from the neighbors. As of today, 3 of them have ordered the exact same sun shade. We have had 2 heavy thunderstorms since I put it up, and like others have said, the water will pool in the middle when the rain is heavy. Definitively worth getting!

This sail has made it possible to sit out on a hot sunny day. Without it, the sun is just too hot for me. It beats the umbrella that we previously used as that only protected two or 3 people from the sun.

Just in time for a very hot summer. Jasmine that covered our pergola died. This was a good replacement.

Nice shade but doesn't block all light.

Works great on our deck, however it will stretch some. The area to pull it tight should be bigger than 12x12. Also the rope that comes with it is crap. invest in some p-cord to tie it up.

The seam ripped within the first month of being up and there were no extreme weather conditions.

Hard to hang it where it does not appear wrinkled. Otherwise fine.

This is my second shade in a year. First one the stitching came undone and fell apart. Tried to contact the company for warranty replacement and the company no longer existed. Amazon made it right and gave me a refund at their expense and I purchased this replacement. It appears to be the same exact material and stitching so we will se how it holds up.
